Luke Coop joined Sowell Management in 2021 as a trading specialist in asset management. He has been in the securities business since 2001, beginning his career at Crews & Associates where he worked with equities and customer accounts, and later transitioning in 2006 to Stephens, Inc. as an agency trader. He advanced in numerous roles including equity trading for institutional and retail customers, operations responsibilities, and managed account support. While at Stephens he held Series 7, 63, 55 and 24 securities licenses.
Luke is a lifetime Arkansan and a graduate of University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is married to Bec, and has four children: Gracie, Cole, Brett Ashlynn and Emmett. An outdoorsman with a curious spirit, he shares his explorations across the Natural State with Izzy the Adventure Dog on his website, Arkansas Adventuregram.
“I have been fortunate to live out some of my bucket list dreams. As an avid golfer and fan of the game, I have been to the Master’s the PGA Championship and the British Open. Once I make it to the U.S. Open, I will have completed the golf fan ‘Grand Slam.’ Finishing that is top on my bucket list.”
