Carl Joined the team in January 2022. He was a chemical engineer for Mobil Oil in his early career, but his interest in investments and financial planning prompted a career move to IDS Financial Services in 1986. He remained with the company for 34 years as it changed from IDS to American Express Financial Services to the current Ameriprise Financial. As part of his practice transition, he and his business partner went independent in 2020 where he remained as chairman until the end of 2021.
A graduate of Louisiana State University, Carl received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He earned his CFP designation in 1990 and provided comprehensive financial planning to individuals, families and small business owners over his career.
The father of six children, Carl and wife Becky live in his hometown Little Rock, Arkansas. He enjoys family time, boating and woodworking.
“My wife and I enjoy being at home together. It’s a blessing having the kids come over for Sunday dinner and talk about the week. But we always like a good adventure and take time for them too. That includes when I got to watch my wife Becky pilot out boat down the Mississippi River. She handled it perfectly. Over a 1,000 nautical miles under our belt and ready for more!”
