BIO

Jason began his financial services career in San Francisco in the 1990s with a startup hybrid RIA launched by breakaway wirehouse advisors. Over the last 25 years, Jason has developed a true passion for consulting with advisors, having served the financial advisory community through various senior executive roles of increasing responsibilities, with Integrated Advisors Network, Angel Oak Capital Partners, Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB), Envestnet (NYSE: ENV) and Bank of New York Mellon (NYSE: BK).

A charismatic and results-driven leader, Jason brings extensive experience in strategic planning and execution, sales leadership, business development, and creating strategic partnerships to the Sowell leadership team. As Chief Revenue Officer, Jason is responsible for developing and implementing Sowell’s revenue growth plans with an emphasis on leading new advisor acquisition efforts, growing Sowell’s TAMP offerings, expanding Cache River’s M&A capabilities, as well as enhancing the overall evolution of the Sowell brand and advisory platform.

Originally from Atlanta, Jason, and his family live in Denver, Colorado, where he loves exploring the natural beauty around him. When not working, he enjoys fly-fishing, Georgia Bulldogs football, and spending every second he can with his wife Gwyn and their sons Sawyer and Truman.

We take every opportunity to spend quality time hiking in the Rocky Mountains, or vacationing at a sunny beach, or even just sitting around watching a football game as a family.
